Use:
The 22PCS Disc Brake Caliper Tool Set is used for rewinding and compressing brake caliper pistons when replacing brake pads or servicing disc brakes. It allows you to safely retract the piston into the caliper without causing damage to seals or components.
This tool is essential when working on vehicles with rear disc brakes that use a screw-in piston mechanism. The kit’s left-hand and right-hand threaded tools, along with multiple adapter plates, make it compatible with a wide range of car models — both local and imported.
Steps for Use:
-
Secure the vehicle and remove the wheel.
-
Remove the brake caliper from the disc (keep it connected to the brake hose).
-
Select the correct adapter plate for your caliper piston.
-
Attach the adapter to the thrust bolt and align it with the caliper.
-
Rotate the handle (clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on caliper type) to rewind the piston.
-
Once the piston is fully retracted, reinstall new brake pads and reassemble the caliper.
Note: Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s brake service instructions and use proper safety precautions.
